Our Story
Burnley AC is a long-established pillar of the local sporting community. Our journey began on a traditional cinder track, which served generations of athletes before being revitalised into the facility we use today.
In 1998, the Barden Track was upgraded to a synthetic all-weather surface, ensuring our athletes have the best possible environment to train and compete year-round.
We are a 100% volunteer-led club. Our coaches and officials are UK Athletics qualified and DBS checked, donating their expertise back into the community.
