Track & Field Training

Our Track & Field program at Burnley AC caters to athletes of all abilities. Whether you are aiming to compete at the Lancashire County Championships, or simply looking to improve your personal best, our dedicated coaching team provides structured, technical training.

For our younger athletes (Under 12s), it is all about fun! We focus on building confidence, making friends, and learning the fundamental movements of running, jumping, and throwing in a positive, pressure-free environment.

Learn how to get out of the blocks quickly, clear hurdles smoothly, and build the speed you need to fly down the track.

Mid & Long Distance Distance Alternative

Mid & Long Distance

Build your stamina, learn race tactics, and pace yourself perfectly for everything from 800m up to 5000m.

High Jump Long Jump Alternative

Jumps

Master your run-up and technique to get the best distance or height in the Long, Triple, and High Jump.

Throws Base Throws Alternative

Throws

Develop the power, balance, and technique needed to throw the Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin further.
